Fanatec brings the Clubsport DD plus
Finally here, after months of delay and drama, Fanatec brings out the clubsport dd.
The clubsport series as a wheelbase doesnt disappoint. Its a super responsive wheelbase in everything.The forcefeedback is comparable to my Asetek Forte wheelbase when everything is configured to the same level. It is as fast, as smooth, responsive, detailed, trivial to setup, and totally familiar if you have ever interacted or had any fanatec direct drive in the past.
The build quality is OK, it doesnt feel as premium as the DD1 and 2 series. I do wish that the niquel plating quick release was available as a choice or came stock, because those small details make a little bit of difference to the overall feel of it.
