Is the T300RS worth it in 2023?

This is the T300RS. A wheel you can call one of the veterans in simracing. Should you get one in 2023? Ive bought and used one for almost 2 years after being replaced. From my experience it was a trusty unit with great Forcefeedback force, good details and the price wasn-t too bad. Thats why it has been so popular. Ive asked Thrustamaster for a review unit so we could see if it still has it for 2023 when so many news wheels have came along including cheap direct drives. 

The T300 we have here is the RS GT version with the GT version of the T3PA pedals. There’s also a cheaper two pedal version of the T300RS. Thats the one I used to have. The T300 is the Playstation 3 through 5 compatible version of this wheel base. There’s also a XBOX compatible one called the TX. IT’s mostly the same with some differences. 

The prices fluctuate somewhere from 220pounds for the servo unit stand alone to around 370 pounds for the GT version we have for test. These prices hover a bit. Ive seen the GT version for close to 300. 

The wheel still holds out quite well, though it must be said the design is aging.
